Dr. Anousheh Persadmehr, DDS

Endodontist

Anousheh graduated with her BSc. in Molecular Biology from the University of Toronto before going on to complete her D.D.S from the same University in 2009. After practising dentistry as an associate she returned to the U of T in 2010 to pursue a career in endodontics, entering the three year Graduate Specialty Program and graduating with her MSc. (Endodontics) in 2013.

Anousheh’s published research focuses on photodynamic therapy and bioactive nanoparticles; she had the privledge of presenting her work at both the 2013 AAE (American Association of Endodontists) and CAE (Canadian Academy of Endodontics) Annual Meetings and is an ongoing member of both organizations in addition to the ODA (Ontario Dental Association), RCDC (Royal College of Dentists of Canada – Fellow), RCDSO (Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario), and CDA (Canadian Dental Association).
Dr. Gevik Malkhassian, DDS

Endodontist

Dr. Gevik Malkhassian is a certified dental specialist in Root Canal Therapy. He received his dental degree (D.D.S.) from Iran in 1990 and practiced general dentistry for 11 years before immigrating to Canada. Upon completion of a two year program at the University of Toronto for foreign-trained dentists, he continued his education at the graduate Endodontics program at University of Toronto.

Dr. Gevik takes great interest in both academic and clinical studies and decided while practicing as an endodontist to keep his affiliation with the Faculty of Dentistry, University Toronto as an assistant professor. He is involved in teaching both graduate and undergraduate levels.

Gevik is avid outdoor cyclist and enjoys spending time with his wife and friends. He is fluent in Armenian and Persian.
Dr. Farzad Salehipour

Endodontist

Dr. Farzad Salehipour is an Endodontist who graduated in 2001 from Tehran Dental School, Iran. He continued his education at the University of Toronto and obtained his master’s degree in Endodontics in 2012.

He has been a member of RCDC since 2013 and practices in Ontario. He also sees root canal cases in Newfoundland & Labrador since 2014.

He has maintained his connection with academia through serving as clinical instructor at the University of Toronto.

He is a major biking enthusiast and has discovered the biking routes of Spain and Italy so far and is hoping to cross more countries off his bucket list. He is also a soccer fan and has priceless memories from the last World Cup.
Dr. Ian Watson, DDS

Endodontist

Dr. Ian Watson is a certified dental specialist in Root Canal Therapy. He has been educated at the University of Western Ontario, the University of Toronto School of Dentistry and the Boston University School of Graduate Dentistry. He is the founding partner of Limited to Endodontics and has practiced as an endodontist in Mississauga since 1981. He has performed over 40,000 successful root canal treatments on patients from 7 to 103 years of age. He has special interest in treating patients who have fear or anxiety about dental treatment.

Dr. Watson enjoys teaching his chosen specialty to practicing general dentists and also to future endodontists. He is a former staff member at the University of Toronto’s Department of Graduate Endodontics, University of Western Ontario and Boston University.

Dr. Watson is a past president of the Ontario Society of Endodontists, the Halton-Peel Dental Society, and he is in his 4th term as executive director of the Canadian Academy of Endodontics. He has recently been acknowledged for his contributions to dentistry by being awarded four fellowships. He has the title of Fellow of the International College of Dentists, Fellow of the Academy of Dentistry International, Fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy, Fellow of the American College of Dentistry, and fellow of the International Academy of Dental Facial Esthetics.

Dr. Watson successfully completed the Royal College of Dentists of Canada Endodontic Specialty Examination. He was awarded the title of Fellow Royal College of Dentists Canada (FRCD) in Calgary, August 2002.

When not in the office Dr. Watson enjoys playing golf, working out at Lifetime Fitness and spending time with his three children.
Dr. Simone Seltzer, DDS

Endodontist

Simone received her DDS from the University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry. After graduation, Simone served as a part-time clinician at The Hospital For Sick Children in addition to working for her father at his dental practice. Simone then decided to return to post-graduate studies in endodontics at Boston’s Tufts University. While at Tufts, Simone served as a clinical instructor for the predoctoral endodontic program. Simone was award her Fellowship of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada.

A past president of the George Hare Endodontic Study Club, the Central Toronto Dental Society and the Ontario Society of Endodontics, Simone is also serving on several dental committees.

Simone has been a clinical instructor in Endodontics at the University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry and was a past Endodontic Editor of the Ontario Dentist journal. She is actively involved in writing articles for dental journals and lecturing at major dental conferences.

The mother of two, Simone enjoys yoga, pilates, traveling and reading a good book.
